GNTD Portal Overview

The GNTD portal, developed and maintained in collaboration with the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) and global health partners, serves as a centralized platform supporting the fight against neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). It provides users with comprehensive access to data on various NTDs, along with interactive maps that visualize disease prevalence and trends over time, and reporting tools for submitting and analyzing relevant information. Beyond data access, the portal highlights ongoing research initiatives and clinical trials, such as Swiss TPH’s first-in-human trial of the new treatment BAP5191 for cutaneous leishmaniasis, demonstrating how it integrates research, monitoring, and global collaboration to advance understanding and control of NTDs.
